Bowtie8 (Dennis) it was great meeting and working with you back then... I remember that one pic you have of it on the trailer very well....that was a fun 29 for sure, amazing how time has flown since then! Larry really loved that boat and hated selling it but wanted to move up at the time. I still talk to him every once and a while and he still hasn't bought another....prob his daughter (my x-wife) who hates my guts won't let him buy another boat since it is something I loved to do...lol. Hope to meet up with you again someday too man!

Curious.... were there, or are there any 29 Outlaws (twins) out there with the 525 package? Now that gas prices are down I can start to look at putting a 1650 or one of the Goodwin power plants in my single 29 Outlaw. At the same time I'll be solving world peace. This will all happen when Ellen Degenerate goes straight.....

There are a few factory 500 boats out there I know of, one is for sale now on powerboatlistings.com (unless it is an old ad). We had it listed at MMax in Houston for a short time. There may be 1 or 2 525 boats but I'm not too sure. The price point was too close to a 33 even with the HO pkg in the 29's which is one reason most dealers did them with small power or MAGs only. There was that solid blue 30 OL that had the 600's in it that popped back up for sale a few months back, think it may have been at LOTO.

I just paid 37k for a 2003 25'ol sst with a ho in pristine condition with 250hr with every option so id say that's cheap but I saw them across the board from 25-50 this was in my area and from a friend. Everyone's idea of a perfect boat is different mine is the good kind of perfect i'll post some pics when I get her home.
I'm looking to officially call myself a baja owner.
Can someone give me some advice on how much I should pay for a 25ol with 496magHO stock with 175-250 hours? Is nada even reasonable when buying a boat. With no options, they have a 2005 outlaw w/ trailer priced at 26k, seems low.

I'm really liking my 2001 Baja 25 Outlaw. Which has the Mercruiser 425 hp 496 MAG H.O. I'm not going to at all upgrade to a bigger boat. The boat is ideal for big and small lakes and rivers. Easy to store and to tow. Ease of cost and maintenance as well. I like my boats stance. The sound and speed. I'm totally fine not having to be the biggest, fastest, and loudest boat out there.

If you have a +/- range of just 3' I know of a VERY unique 26OL (the only one built for 2011) in showroom condition with great upgrades that is a perfect "lake boat". The 26OL has a lot of room in the cockpit and cabin for a boat in that size range.
Let me know if you want more information
