Shorties alone will not work unless you use extension boxes. Take out as much weight as you can as JT said. Get your props blueprinted. In order to increase speed on a Baja you need to get the bow up high. And I assume you have carbed 500's ?? If you have EFI motors you can get a re flash to get some power and bump the rev limiters so you can work prop pitch as well.

Ok.. maybe I was on crack, but I used a 3ft level and there was only a (maybe) 32nd" if any hook.. I didnt have a 6ft straight edge, but wouldnt any hook at least be in the last 3ft? I must have been think of my 99 25ol having a gap (hook).
