My old 302 with 500's ran 84 gps light load 80 gps any load any day. Full galley and head.

Know 2 33 OL's run 82 ish with 500's

My numbers are GPS not a wish O water meter, real Dyno tested engines, Im not buyin in on mid 80's with a 1000 hp

Had mine up to 78 once.. have 385 a side.

Had a lot left, but had to slow down b/c one of the tires starting bouncing a lil at that speed! :-)

Bajahahaha remember those 500's are only 470 HP at the prop.

Those Smith Power 540's must have been measured at the distributor....or maybe the water pump Surely NOT at the crank. Everyone knows all powerboat HP ratings are at the prop.

Remember its an OL ( Outlaw ) not an OL ( Outerlimits )

I guess believe what you want. I've got gps pics of all 3 boats doing 80+ feel free to PM your email I'll send them to you.

Not that I don't believe you, but got any vids....that would be cool. Some stuff to add to the off season rotation.
