Ive been going LED crazy as of late...the whole house has LED lights now....even my outside mailbu lights....just about to do the lights in my Avalanche this weekend...and when the time comes ill do my boat as well....just find bulbs that have the highest lumens you can find in the bulb style you have....also keep them in the 4000 kelvin range for a pure white light...close you get to 6000K they turn blue...and below 4000k they turn yellow.

Take a look at www.superbrightleds.com

You can find just about any replacement bulb in LED there.

I'm guessing they are the ITC light, the top twists to turn on and off

This is what's in the sticker inside the light
12v type 2018 10w/T3 B1 pin single ended

The bulb itself has number 2725

I changed all the cabin lights in ours out to LED. The swivel lights that came in the boat started to break apart at the base. So I went to a surface mount LED, now much better lighting and no chance of breaking off.

Hated those lights and mine from '96 were yellow. Got the below on ebay at a reasonable price and they are marine rated. White led's with the option to be blue (which i did on the V-berth side) or white/blue combined. Bright enough to light up the entire cabin. http://www.ebay.com/itm/12V-3-LED-Mi...oAAOSwpDdVbV6e

I also replaced the ugly switched lights in the head and at the counter with led switched units that are equally as bright. They are neat as the switch is at the center, is push button and glows in the dark! Here's ebay link to that one http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-5-12V-LED-...item3cec505e18
