Hey Allen, Everyone here thought I was smoking crack when I suggested that in the beginning of the summer. I was advised that this would help out by two guys from the Baja factory that test drive all thier boats. 1.3 mph faster on gps for me EVERY time

Well, the GPS was lying to me all weekend long! The damn unit insisted I was going 5 mph slower.
Actually, the weather SUCKED all weekend long! I never had a chance to get out and do some testing. I plan on going out next Saturday. Did you guys happen to get out with TT's machine?

OTIS, right on. I get about .08-1.3 mph increase. I do not have a max mph sticking number on my GPS, it will erase after each run, so I have to keep an eye on it when I am running. I do know that I have seen about, below and a little above a 1 mph increase....instantly. Rpms pop about 100 revs as well.

not sure what is going on for this weekend? If it is nice we will go for a ride. but if it is crappy outside ( which it looks like it will be) We are planning on going to Iowa to take a tour of the profile plant.

Alma Boys,
I haven't been able to get out boating since I created this thread. The weather has been brutal. I'm thinking of cutting my losses and winterizing this weekend. When are you guys putting the hotrods away?

Bringing the hotrods home on sunday winterizing monday, taking the boat to the shop to have bottom reblue printed next week.
I hate the fact that winter is coming
but I guess we cant do anything about it but spend money on making the boats better and faster

WC212,
Are you in for Profile if we go? Your brother and Thirsty Turtle said "no time". They want to wait and go latter in the fall or winter. I'm in either way. Unless its nice this weekend...so I guess I'll be going to Iowa.

Sounds like it is going to be a nice weekend, so I guess I am going to go with the no time. We have two trees to wack for wood next year, and then I just might have to go for a boat ride.
I dont realy know if middle 50s is nice but, it is better then 10 below 0
