Default SWEET! staggered 36 OL...

I've always loved this thing. Last time I saw it, it was very beat up in Texas I believe.

That was Doug Smith's demo boat back in the day. It had 600SC's when built. Was on Lake Cumberland for a time. The owner then had installed 502 MPIs in it. This was around 1999 or 2000. Lost track of it after that. Wanting to say that when it was tested by several magazines with the 600's it ran 84-86.

last insaw it was about 3 years ago and it was for sale I want to say in Texas. It was beat. Had those 502's in it I think and stuff like a water line in the cabin, needed interior, trailer was pooched. Looks like this guy bought it and did a bunch of work to it. Wonder how good those motors are. 45 asking doesn't seem bad at all.

Says winning bid 36k. Wonder if that's factual. Kinda doubt it.

Ummmm, beautiful is not the word I'd use to describe that. Sad, is definitely the word. Too bad it's been de-rigged and seriously neglected. The hull is the only thing worth anything and would take a truck load of cash to get it back into shape.

Yea, it definitely could be saved but still is a bare hull at this point as I'm guessing it'd need to be stripped the gunnals. And yea, it's a cool boat. If someone had a lot of cash, patience and ability, it'd be the perfect boat.
