Default Need Help: 2001 Baja 280 Merc t200s

I'm looking at a 2001 Baja 280 with t200s tomorrow. I've already walked the boat and its in great shape for its age. The pictures show one FL number, then the FL number on it currently is different. I always thought the FL numbers stayed the same throughout the life of the boat. Any ideas why it would change? Anyone know of this boat? Was in Punta Gorda, then down to South Eastern Florida, now back in Cape Coral. Believe original name was Anchor something. Any insight would be helpful. Link below:

My best guess is that in between the FL registration #'s it was registered in a different state.

Well, I bought it any way. Its in great shape, but the t200 Optimaxs I'm not so impressed with. Any prop suggestions? Boat seemed to tap out at 48 MPH. I wasnt driving so I'm sure trim might squeeze a few more MPHs. If I hang on to it a while, it'll require a set of 250s.

put a couple 400R's on there and you'd have a rocket.. and also double what you have in it. but seriously if you repower the new merc 4 strokes are pretty awesome. I say the new 225 3.4L I saw at the Miami boat show would be the perfect fit for your boat they beat the optis in pretty much every category including weight 484lbs. vs 505lbs.
