Yeah, I want to do the blower thing, seeing as it looks like I will be in this boat for atleast 1 more season, probably two. I was thinking today I will need about 110-120 more HP to break 80GPS. That means I will have a total of 630-640, and about 50 ft/lbs/tq more repectively. That should do it, sound right to you big power 24 guys???? That tq number increase is the important one.

as far as faster vees, the Checkmate is the obvious, and there were lots of cats. But that Fountain, I don't know man. Unless he just was cruising when I raced him, he went past me at MAYBE, MAYBE 80. I was doing 72ish most likely and he didn't pull me by much. Either he was just taking it easy (how many guys do that when racing at a shootout) or that boat is 90 on the SPEEDO with a hurricane behind it. I'd say he was solid 78 GPS, maybe a few ticks more....80ish. My ACCURATE .02 :D :D :D

That's fine and all, but how come he would not show you under the hatch and then he sqeeks past me at 80ish. I don't give a s*** either way, it just seems like this is one of the "10 miles per hour rule" boats.......:rolleyes:

It is all anodized red blue and chrome. i remember seeing it at the gas dock last year, Just once got a pic of it in the .324 seconds it was open.
