Unfortunately, after all the money I put in this boat, life seems to be getting in the way, so I listed my 98' 33 Outlaw.
I have threads all over the place about what I did. Not Teal, pink or lt green on this boat! New cuddy, carpet, LEDs, XT innovations custom cockpit vinyl with everything rebuilt. (all wood replaced and glassed edges and previously rotted parts. Motors are new in 11 with only 86 hours.

Hey, I read your reply on the other thread. Totally get selling when you're just not using it. 90 percent the reason we sold our Gun a few years ago. Just wasn't using it with small kids and all. Now we're looking at getting back into it so there will always be another one out there for you when things change again. If you don't mind me asking, you went through the motors? What are they putting out now and whats the speed you're seeing?

Motors were replaced with new long blocks, fuel injectors overhauled, I believe 1 injector was replaced.. would have to go look at receipt. New exhaust and a couple of sensors, a map, etc were also replaced. So she is probably putting out the stock 385 hp. It originaly had 25p M+ and ran 67.4 when I bought her with 3ppl and 1/4 fuel. Then i pulled her down here and I believe I had thrown some knock sensor codes and didn’t scan them till last year. Once it got hot, I lost 800 rpms and couldn’t figure out why, heat and dragging south shouldnt have pulled her down.
Long story short, they had the knock wires snaked through the spark plugs wires and I ended up changing 1 knock sensor and she ran 67 loaded last summer with the labbed 24p B1s I have just over 5100. I added some cup and pitch added to bring the rpms down at 50mph cruise, so now she is at 36-3700 at 50 and wot at 4800ish at 66 or so from what I can remember. 50 was at 3800 or so before that, but I really want to try 25p rev 4s as my 25ol loved the rev4 I tried on her.
If I wanted to lab a 25p M+, I am confident I could reach 69-70 light.

LOL... dont write me off yet.. I think I am having sellers remorse before the sale! Thinking about sticking to my original plan and finish paying truck off in 6 mths and knock boat out in a few (3) years...
I think I just need to “plan” to use it more and maybe threatening to sell it may get the wife and kids to want to go out more.
Decisions!! Lol

Maybe the buyers remorse (typical) was a good thing in this instance. It looks like you live a part of the country that would require winterization and I can see how that would be frustrating. I live where it's not required and I'm always pushing to use mine more.

Definitely keep it! Maybe try some family vacations to other lakes and or more poker runs so you are scheduled and planned to enjoy it! There's nothing better than boating! And you have done such a nice job on her!
