Default Which Baja for me?

Hi folks.

I am looking for a 29-30 ft boat.
I like the Baja style but am not familiar with the various models.
The 30 Outlaw looks to be a redesign over the 29.
Is the 30ft an improvement over the 29.
What does the SST offer over the Outlaw.
Any insight is appreciated.

The SST line was basically an upgrade package....different graphics and came with monster gauges on the dash....the rest was all the same stuff you could get on the outlaws (engine/drive wise etc...)
There may be other things like throttles or k-planes but mostly cosmetic items....

actually did a quick search and found anopther posting on a forum where a guy had the brochure for the 29
here's what it stated for the 99 model year:

Corsa Quick & Quiet II; custom steering wheel; K-planes w/indicators; SST panels with Gaffrig Monster Gauges; White Kiekafer shifter/trim on throttle; Fire Extinguising sys.; White rubrail w/stainless insert; Rubber mat under rear bench; Carpet in cabin; Swim platform/ladder; SST logos; SST graphics; Sunbrella cockpit cover.

I dont remember which ones but some of these boats were liner construction not stringer as I remember and some had delam issues, do the research and make sure of what you are buying, good luck....I had a 33 Outlaw and it was a great boat.

EDIT: Found this in a quick search,
I have a friend that has a 2007 26 outlaw and it is doing the same thing. these cracks you are seeing are not cosmetic this is a major deal. dont let anyone touch your boat but searay. you will void your warranty. your guy is spot on about it twisting. You can try to patch and fix it all you want and trust me when I tell you this it will always come back. you have a five year structural warranty and that is what this is. this is a well know problem from 2004 - 2008. 23- 26- 30 -35- outlaws because of the liner:

Wow, glad I asked, those are the years I have been looking at.
I will proceed with caution..
Can I tell by visual inspection?

2003 Baja 29’ Outlaw | Powerboats & Motorboats | Kingston | Kijiji

An 03 29 ft may not have this issue.??
Ignore the price, Canadian listing.

As I recall the breaks occurred in the liner in the cabin portion in the sides above cabin floor, they can be seen.

29’s are stringer boats and don’t have the liner issue.

I had 2 29’s and a 33 outlaw, there’s nothing wrong with the 29’s but
if you can do a 33, you would be more happy with it

I've owned 5 30 Outlaws and never had a issue with any of them, Mine were 04-07 models as well. 04-05 30 Outlaws are faster than the 06-08 30 Outlaws. Also there is only about 2-3 mph difference in twin 496 mags vs twin 496 Ho's in each year model.
