Looks great man. Saw you pass by the house a little while back and caught a glimpse. The outboard setup looks killer.

It’s been a minute… Boat is running great! The video was running about 70 catching up with my buddys Nortech.
At the end of this day, on the ride back and almost to the house, we opened her up and ran actually trimmed up to the highest so far and was running 77! (Loaded at least. Prev high is still 78.2) 6 ppl, coolers and about 60 gallons of fuel left. So now, Im thinking I need to play with my props. I’m running 22.5p Rev 4s, but am getting a lil stern lift, i.e. A lil chine above 74 as I start to trim out and have to put a lil tab down to settle her. Im pretty sure I don’t want to risk my drives with 5 blades, so I’ll call Brett and BBlades to see if I need to lab my Revs, or try some labbed B1’s. Trimming up more helped, so now, Im really curious if I can break 80 as I hit 77 with 6ppl in the heat of the summer. I did try running in the fall and I kept hitting the rev limit, so I need more pitch/cup anyway! |
Updating thread.
- Hull blueprinted to remove hook and sharpen transom edges. - Stock 23p Rev4 Xp’s to 26p B1’s labbed by Bblades 120 gallons, 1.5-2ft chop with 11mph winds and 66 degrees and myself. Prev best was 78.7 and NOW 80.6, but need more testing! https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...864455103.jpeg |
It is different
but still looks amazing, really nice set up sitting on trailer is odd with all that put back You need a longer so folks dont drive under your engines your work shows good |
For us, it’s the best of both worlds! Still get wind protection and reliability!
I ended up moving the boat forward on the trailer as far as i could, 15” to get the tongue weight back and I dont trailer often either. So not really worried about wrecking as I also keep all my lights working and dont normally tow over 68-69mph, so everyone is normally passing me up. Thanks |
