you did right by going with the Mag's,
i wasn't so lucky though.
I went from a mid to high 70's bandit
to a low to mid 60's 29 ( twin 7.4's)
Thought i would give up some speed
for better ride, well , all of a sudden
ALOT more boats were running with me,
some faster.
Got divoriced, got the one I wanted,
dealers kid's boat: 500's, stereo, alot
better colors.
Back running up front, and good ride
If you decide to tweak the engines, mags are a better
starting point.
The 29 is a great boat.
I did pull mine with a 1/2 ton for a while, it will work,
but have a 2500HD now, it's a word of difference.
