Andy,
I have a 1988 Force 320 with 385 HP mags and bravos.
It is a great boat. Handles excellent, it will turn on a dime at WOT(66 GPS). Only stress cracks that I have had to deal with has been on the dash. How much are they asking for the one that you are looking at?
Jeff

I have owned a 1986 force 320 and 1994 32 caliper (same hull). They still make the same hull in the 33'. You can't beat the maneuvering, wave handling, and solid tracking.
I've heard problems on the stringers on some of the older boats. My 1986 is being run by my friend...still solid.
I think the year you are talking about has a raised deck version, gives more cabin room. They only made it for a few years before they changed the hull completely. The hull in the 89 is the same as mine but mine were both flat decks. The lines are exactly the same on the 86 and 94. Here's my site:

Are there TRS drives or Bravos. Bravo's much preferred and I think are standard.
I also have some stress cracking in the dash area. This is not are area where you worry about them.
Frankly I can't say enough good about these boats. People in the know that have ridden in it also admire it's great qualities.
I ridden in faster boats, but give me mine in the waves.
The only questions I would find out about:
Transom condition
Stringer condition
Engine hours, condition, repair history
Any damage history
Gel coat blisters
Bottom paint or not
Have a trusted mechanic test the engines and inspect the drives. Surveyors for the most part don't touch on the engines or drives which is probably the biggest point of potential failure.
Good luck!!!
