I'm so anal my sister told me I should just put a sign on it that says "Do Not Use - For Display Purposes Only".

LOL! That's good.

Most of my buddies have c/c fishing boats or beaters from the 80's...They often bust my balls saying "Are you ever going to use that thing or just clean it all the time?"

I don't care, that's my baby! And I like to take care of it!

Man, those guys with the fishing boats are something else. Are they just idiots or do they purposely try to get under our skin. A couple weeks ago we had some warm weather so I had the covers off the boat and was inside checking on things. My neighbor yells over “Hey, it’s still too cold to go out fishing”. Grrrr….

I know what you mean....Cold is fast, I don't mind!

It's amazing how little they know about boating in general. I hat to make blanket statements, but from my observations, at least locally, it's the fisherman you have to watch out for. They're the ones, more often than other categories, that are running around at night without lights and choose to park their asses in the middle of government shipping lanes. Then they have the nerve to make obsene gestures and yell when you're too close... GET OUT OF THE SHIPPING LANE, JACKASS!!!

The rope holder were no big deal. I got them at Boaters World. Bad part is you pay about $20.00 for something that cost about $0.99 to make.

Yep,

I took those picutures in the parking lot next to the gazebo. After I took those pictures, I unhooked and left the boat sitting there. My plan was to come back later in the day and launch. Well, someone at the Rec Center didn't like it sitting there and took it upon himself to tow it away. Grrrr... I didn't see anything wrong with leaving it there for a few hours since it was a weekday and the place was deserted.

As far as the drive showers - I got them from Imco and put them on myself. No big deal.

Hey 29 Outlaw, can you imagine pulling up and seeing someone hooking up to your boat? We might have had to take a collection up for your bail money!
