he boated up that way with a 98 BOSS 302.
I am from central ILL we get up north once in a while.

Thanks for the hearty welcome. To answer some questions. The 525sc are pretty much gone in the boat. The original owner who I bought from had them at up to 460ci with 750hp and drives beefed up. It would run in the mid 90's that way. As part of the sale the blowers came off and the engines were freshened and taken back to natural aspirated. The engines turned 425hp a side now (still 8.2-1 comp) and runs in the mid 70's. I'm putting some 250 blowers back on it. It will keep them under the swim deck and should run apprx 600hp and mid 80's. Mid 70's is too slow for this boat.
Don't know the guy with the 302. We do a lot of boating around the Princeton beach area of the mississippi.
I will try to get to the Dubuque poker run this year. Where is a good place to stay and dump the boat in there?
It's been a good ride so far. I did a Hawkeye Boats poker run in the Ozarks last september and bent the sticks forward for almost the whole thing. 200 gallons later that is!
