need help
 

I have 1991 240es 454 330hp but last year need some in sight on whats a good prop half out hole and great top end can any one help

I saw your running a 23, a mirage I presume... I'd try a 22 Bravo 1 four blade. I changed from a 23 three blade to a 22 four blade on my 272 and really like it. I lost a couple mph on top end, but out of the hole and mid range improved dramatically.

I tested everything on my old 24 and the 23 mirage + was the best

I would go with a 23 mirage and now is the time to buy ,before summer gets here,then it's worth gold:D 275.00 polished,hardware not included. also if want the prop labbed it would be 375.00 Darin

HOUSTONPROP,I have the same boat (96) .We tube the kids alot
would that 3 blade mirage still work.I am currently running a
22 4 blade mach prop...:confused: :confused:

River Runner the 23 mirage will work great, the holeshot will be about the same and will work fine for tubing and when you are not playing the top speed will be alot better.Darin

I have a 1997 240 with a 454 (stock). Presently, I am running a 24p four blade bravo. I also have a 23p mirage plus. I use the four blade almost all the time. Better midrange and start. The 23 p has a terrible midrange,but is about 3 mph faster. I have never tried a 22p four blade, maybe I need to try that. For over all performance the four blade is better on my boat.
