Default Picture inventory

Hey,

Next time you guys look thru your picture inventory, see if you have any pictures of a late model Outlaw without a swim platform. I think I'm going to delete the swim platform on my next Outlaw but I'm not sure what it would look like without one.

I agree that it looks better with the platform but for me it serves no purpose other than to add 45 minutes to the clean up time after each use. Not to mention all the additional squatting, crouching, and head banging under it.

29 Outlaw - OSO member Team Baja has a good photo of a 29 Outlaw without one, his brother has one and took it off for a short time, it is a better photo than the one posted above, maybe you could PM him for a photo. I thought it looked pretty cool. Especially if you don't have a need for one. Big E

Try ZEP formula 505 from home depot straight, do not dilute, it cleans right off

One of the old mercruiser brochures had a 25 outlaw without a swim plat as a pictured boat. I believe its in the 98 brochure. I'd post it but I don't have a way to.

The first "rule" in having
one with the "shelf" deleted is:
You have to have enough TRANSOM
JEWELRY ( external steering, K Planes,
angled tip exhaust, or big ass mufflers
extension boxes don't hurt either)
to do it justice.
The verdict is still out
on ITS drives, since they eliminate
alot of the "shiny" stuff.
My friend has a 33 with all the
above mentioned items, and it looks
better without the platform.
Getting out of the water is really
easy, you use the Kplanes and the tops of the
extension boxes for steps.

I will try to take some pictures today and post
later.
