sorry guys I just couldn't resist. Gotta love those BAJA's.
I almost bought a 42 once and I would have if it wasn't for that faded dark gelcoat on the top of the deck. The person that thought of that idea should have been shot. You guys will be on the water long before me. I still have to put my engines back in.

Just arrived at the dealer. First time I saw it completed.

Liquid, your boat looks sweet! We've got the triple rear bolster also.

Yeah we have the 500's, best I have seen to date is 73 MPH on the GPS. I keep telling the wife I'm going to take EVERYTHING off the boat and go out myself in the right conditions with low fuel and see if I can get that 75 on the tattle tail!

The ride is awesome though. You don't have to slow down for anything. Actually when you see a big wake or something I find myself throttling up.:D

I took all but about 1 foot of a 4' x 8' sheet to do the engine compartment, and the storage bins.

I can't wait for the poker run, I got me a map last week to help us get around a little. I will probably leave early Saturday morning, we should be there around lunch. I will send you a cell phone number later on, I would like too take you up on your lake tour you mentioned.

I think you can do better than that, a freind of mine gps'd 77 the other day, just him low on fuel 01 33 with 500 efi's

That's good to know Liquid. Do you know what props he is turning and at what RPM?

A buddy is wanting to buy some new Bravo drives and I'm kicking around selling the XZ's and going with IMCO Extremes, 2 inches shorter and with extension boxes.

This seems to be the ticket for an extra 3-4 MPH on the Baja hull from what I have been told. Then you are ready for blowers if you want them? Just thinking out load.

just sold my 24' outlaw and got this should be a nice ride!

It has ran 80.5 at 5250 with labbed 30's, but that was with -2'' imco lowers, which I have for sale on the parts for sale section. With stock lowers its running 77.6 on gps at around 5100, pm me if your interested in the lowers

Heres a running pic.... Got rid of my whippled HP500 because it was blue and didnt match the boat :p ;) :D .... Running now a 4.3 V6
