Default Steering Wheel Removal

How do you get the steering wheel off a 2002 25 outlaw? Do I need a special puller? Does anyone want to buy it once I get it off? (Silver MoMo) The one that comes with the SST package.

Here is a pic.

I think you just need a steering wheel puller or universal flywheel puller. Most auto parts stores carry them as a loaner tool. Of course I'm sure you can buy one too.

There is a small key on the bottom to push in and then it should just slide off

You dont need a steering wheel puller. Try this.

1. Open and chug cold beverage.
2. Take your shoes off.
3. Place your feet against the dash on both sides of the wheel.
4. Firmly grasp the wheel with both hands.
5. Started pulling and tugging like hell.
6. Have someone tap the center with a hammer.
(Step 6 is optional if wheel hasnt already come off!)
7. Use extreme caution not to bag yourself when the wheel
comes loose!
8. Repeat step one.

Bajaforce, I am replacing it with the same wheel only red.

Liquid, I am getting the MoMo that is just like this one only its red.

TEAMBAJA, I will try that if a wheel puller does not work.

Uhhh, first I would pull the wheel off and take the large nut off the wheel shaft then replace the wheel. THEN got to step #2...

Opps! Forgot about the nut!

Maybe I was assuming he already had that off! Maybe should wait till after the job is finished to consume beverage!
