Wow! What kind of responses are you getting? Hmmm...I think you need a complimentary full tank of fuel for the first month

Well, if they are taking their time and doing things right then it will be worth it. Taking their time and not do anything-I doubt Baja is doing that. Hang in there son. Keep us posted.

Got a call today from Dean at the custom shop. Paint is all done. According to him, it looks awesome. Just going in for the finishing touches and should be here shortly. I hope so. But what's the deal w/ insurance. I had no prob.'s w/ my previous boat, a 30 cat w/ 2 300 promax's. When I ordered this boat in March, PMA quoted me $2600 but now they advise that they can't bind coverage on this boat. WTF?

I have had very good luck with Sy Goldberg at Total Dollar Insurance.

The 36 Outlaw with 500's is around $2500 per year, but I am fully covered!

They know performance boats, they know the speeds and poker runs and offshore stuff. And they insure for agreed hull value which is very important.

Also they cover many other things that a lot of auto companies don't such as fuel spill, etc.

You can save a few bucks, but a real marine policy by a company that knows and understands performance boats lets you sleep at night.

Good luck with the 33, cannot wait to see pictures!

The boat came in last Sat. I drove down on Sunday. It looks awesome. I'm dying to pick it up but this weekend weather. I might have to cut out of work this week to get it. I'll post pics as soon as it is in my possession.
