I need to find new Insurance . I received my renewal from National Marine Underwriters and they said Hanover Insurance Company the company that has my policy is withdrawing from the marine market. They were giving me a new policy with American Modern Insurance. I got a new bill and it was $330 more than last years Premium. I do some major work to the boat over the winter, put in a different motor ,replaced the floor ,carpet and all new upholstery. So I also would like to increase the value.I have not even upgraded my policy with NMU for the new motor. Two insurance companies already said they could not insure because of boat age and HP. Boat /US gave me a quote for $2800. The boat is a 1988 240 sport with SC454 with 625hp.
So if anybody knows of a good insurance company,let me know.
