Nick, Whats up with Thunder Marine ?? I brought my boat there to have some service work done and to have them broker the sale of it So I could by a newer smaller boat from them. 6 weeks later the have done NOTHING !! No work, no detailing ,no listing. They said they lost a builidng and cant do service workfor another few weeks if all goes alright. WTF ?? I had Suncoast sales pull my boat out of there today. They will have every thing done that Thunder WAS going to do in a week

btw the 30 was real nice but the price tag of $134,000.00 no deals, at the NYC boat show was way to steap that was with 496 ho,s no trailer

Hey Bob,

Thunder marine has been making a lot of people 'wonder' about them lately. I can't make heads or tales of what's going on there sometimes.

I too heard that they are having some service 'issues' lately.

On a side note, I spoke to a fellow the other day who was inquiring about your boat, he has a 25OL he was interested in trading you. I told it like it is, the last time I saw it, the boat looked great!

Thanks Nick, It looks like both of us will be down next weekend to look at the boat. He seems very interested. I cant wait, Im going to stay 4-5 days just to get out of the cold Its -14 right now with no break in sight for the next week. The high today is going to be -4 DEGREES !!!!!!!!!! The lake froze over in my bay last night, always a sad sad sight for me

Bob

Lets hook up if your free over the weekend

Sounds good to me, Bob. I hope you can work out the deal.

I may be able to find some free time this weekend.

I think the small blocks would be fine, good economy, less stern weight, room in the hatch for servicing, probably run 65-68mph,I know that 95 percent of the time I'm running 30-40mph.Hell you're not always gonna be the fastest.

Does any one know when the hell Baja is going to step up and put some huge big blocks in these Boats? They are already increasing thier prices dramatically I would like to see some 600 cobras in one of the 30's or the 33's. Or even better yet how about twin 1200's in the 40

I think that's what we're all waiting for. But for a big company like Baja, with Mother Brunswick breathing down their necks, I don't see it anytime soon. If just wouldn't do any good putting one of these highly-outfitted boats on a showroom floor. It wouldn't sell.

However, there is a caveat. If you're willing to pay for it, Baja WILL step up and build you pretty much whatever you want.

I would stay away from a 30 with small blocks in it, was on a run 2 years ago and a guy just bought a new 29 outlaw with twin 6.2's in it, afer his break in top speed on gps was at 66.2 mph, and I bet the 30 will not be much if any quicker than one of the newest 29's[raised X] now If some one could get a deal on one with some scorpions in it that might be a different story
