I've driven a few of both.

My personal thoughts:
the 25 seems to be more nimble,
a little more fun to drive.

my .02

millerlite,

Where did you find the windscreen. Thats part of the reason I dont like the 275 is because of the windsheid. Where did you find that or did you order the boat that way?

The 272 used to be able to be had with the white windscreen. Now the 275 can be had with a windscreen but it is clear and does not go all the way around like the white one did. But I think it looks really good. The windshield on the 275 / 272 looks like a family boat and is not very sllek looking. On mine (other 272 pictured) if i could not have gotten the windscreen i would have went with the 25ol.

Mobilecal,

What dealer where you talking to? I'm guessing New Roads. Sammy usually has decent prices but I wouldn't buy anything that he already has in stock. I wouldn't rule out a clean low hour used boat either. Tons of 25's on the market. Good luck on your search.Who's your friend with a 29?

Well I got a neighbor of mine Broussard, and another friend of mine, Pierce. But yea Sammy was the one that gave be the 73-4k price for the 275. Ive already have a pm from a dealer in Tx that said to come visit him and I could probably get one with trailer for under 60, not counting taxes. Thats a 14k difference.

Thumbs down Taxes

I just bought my new boat in texas and you wont pay the taxes in texas. Just a inventory fee and should only be $202.00 but you will have to pay louisiana taxes. Texas taxes are 6.5% verry steep! Oklahoma taxes were 3% still sux
