Default One Class Act

Just got back from the Jacksonville Poker Run and had a real treat there.

Got to meet Bob Todd with the AWESOME 33 Outlaw "Crayola Crazy".

He and his wife Deb are simply very nice people. Like so many of us Baja guys he is eat up with it "BIG TIME"!

His boat is one of the nicest Baja's I have ever seen. And it is by far the fastest I have ever been on. When he asked do you want to go for a ride there was no hesitation!

The GPS recall showed a top speed of 96 MPH. This is a boat with 496 HO's and Whipple blowers and stock outdrives (70+ trouble free hours). He is fast to say that the conditions were just right for that speed with a light load of fuel, but hey it ran 96!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He does have a couple of secret weapons that I will let him give the details on.

We hopped on board, there was a light chop, four people and a full load of fuel and the boat ran up to 90 MPH on the GPS from bridge to bridge in front of the Jaguar Stadium, and it was 88 degrees outside!

I was major impressed. The mid range is like a rocket ship on this boat and man to those Whipples sing!

As for the paint job, well I think it was by far the nicest at the poker run out of 110 boats.

Bob, I cannot thank you enough, it was very nice to meet you and the wife. Glad we could get Deb on the 40 Formula so she could enjoy the event!

Not only did Baja send factory people, but Amy with Baja Magazine was there
and we had our picture made with Bob and the 33 for the next magazine issue!

Thank you Baja for the nice gift packages you left in all the Baja boat at the Poker Run.

Is that the boat that was in pittsburg for sale at Fox Chapel a little while back. If so it is one bad-ass boat. But I heard that he blew his outdrives up last year and they had to re-gear them.

I am almost 100% positive that that was the boat. I almost bought it but I didn't have my boat to trade..........it was at the damn factory.

No I am p!ssed Because I could have had that sweet boat.

I got the impression from Bob that he custom ordered this boat. Hopefully he will get on here and reply and clear this up.
