The prop was recommended by throttle up.
And yes I'm at that stage in the picture. Any more trim I would give it gained nothing and the boat acted no different. The prop does start to cavitate if I trim to high. So I have plenty of trim travel.
Someone should do a database on the Baja boats at the top of this thread since theres so many out there
(Boat type) (Prop used and labbed or not) (RPM's running) (Speed #'s GPS only from 3000rpm's and up) (drive used) (anyother mods done to outdrive or bottom)

Yes I tried a 23P M/P. Ran it all the way to 5400 rpm's and only went 63 MPH GPS. Something had to be wrong with that prop. So I gave it back to the prop shop and they didn't know where it came from. Maybe thats why they got it!
jt29olhp500s do you have a pic of yours running in calm water? I see your aviator looks like it but it's kind of small.

What was the ride attitude with the 23m/p ?
Did it carry the bow any better than the 4 blade ?
Yes, something sounds wrong with that
prop,........ I would expect those speeds
( 63 mph) at around 48-4900 rpm with a
23 m/p ( thats what my friends get with
their 25 o/l's with 385's running 23 m/p's)
I'd try a some other 3 blades.
Here's an old thread that has a larger
picture of my boat:

This was at LOTO shootout a couple of years ago,
and the water was relatively flat.

I have a 33 outlaw and feel the bravo 1 props don't raise the bow enough, and the ride suffered. Now running 3 blades labbed by huston propeller and the boat porposes more than I'd like to see and I have to use tabs more but the boat rides on top for sure

The 23P M/P really wasn't any better at anything. I really couldn't test with it very long because I blew out the hub 5 min into it. But was able to do a high speed run with it. Supposedly it was a stock prop! But was used. I just think there was something wrong with it.
Outlawinil,
What was your speed increase with the 3 blades from HP? Did you do the Accellarator design? And do you have a running shot at WOT with both setups?
This is what I beleave my boat should look like running at WOT
What props are you running at?

Speed increase from 4 blades to 3 blades(stock props) was 6 mph. But I had Darin do the ACC package and give me about 300 more rpms in the Mirage plus props and so far I didn't gain anything. We have had high river here and rough LOTO conditions so I really haven't got a good run in yet. No pics with either props but the 4 blades the nose plowed all the time and I could never trim the nose up thus the speed loss. The three blades now I'm sure at the 70+ mph speeds there isn't much of the boat in the water. I talked to Mercury Racing and they told me never run 4 blades on my outlaw with the lower x dimension(2000 model) and they were right

I'm running 30p labbed bravo's.
The boat had all the junk ( weight) in the cabin
removed then, ( during the shootout)
so in all actuality, under normal
conditions, it's not running that
bow high.

Do you have a pic with all the stuff in the cabin at WOT?
What did the boat run like before you had the Bravo's labbed? Did you feel the boat lift up out of the water when trimming up. I don't.
What is a better at bow lifting the bravo or the Mirage Plus. Throttle Up thought I needed the Bravo but most of the baja's I've seen run 3 blades?
What are where your slip #'s with the unlabbed bravo's and what are they know?
Thanks
Russ
