You got your answer, there is no "Performance" in this boat!
If you are on OSO, you don't own a cruiser. Look at the membership here. We are performance (IE Speed) freaks. That is pretty much what performance boats are purchased for.
I like to cruise the same as the next guy, but I don't remember when anyone started a thread on OSO named; "How Can I Slow My Boat Down?"
OSO = Speed
Sorry Team, I enjoy talking with you and this is just my opinion!

However, I have to disagree with the rest. I have seen several threads guys have talked about boats such as the 292 Islander and 29 Outlaw with single engines. These guys have specifically said in their posts that speed wasnt important, that they were stepping into something bigger for more comfort for the family. That might not be what you and I would be looking for in a boat, but I have seen it firsthand right here and on TBM.
Besides, there are plenty of guys on here with boats that arent even close to the performance category. If you look past all the flash and glitter of the custom paintjobs, there some old slow boats all over this site. The "Average Boat" thread turned into a total joke by the way, take a look at it.

whoever ordered that boat screwed up. Like having a c-5 corvette with an in-line 6. Just doesn't make sense.
Even if it had big blocks mags, it still isn't a smokin' deal. I can buy an 03 with 15 hrs and HOs for around 115.
You can't go just by the lack of external steering. I have seen several without steering that had bb mags. If it isn't an SST, it might not have steering.
IMO it would have to be priced low enough for someone to put motors and drives in it, and cheap enough to be worth the trouble to do so.
