I would say around 70. The 36 is a heavy boat. A 33 will run around 72-73 with HP500's

I just bought a 36 so in a few months i'll tell you how fast it will go with around 1500 total HP.

Bigwavz...I disagree with you on the speed of the 33', unless we are talking about older models. I have an 03 33' with 496HO's and I can run 75MPH GPS. I would think with 500's it should be 77-78MPH

Mike,
I'll agree with you if it is a newer model. Baja did raise the X on later models. We still don't know what year we are dealing with here, but my guess would be an older one.

Maybe baja36ft will get back in here and let us all know.

P.S. Mike is your speed verified by GPS??

I read these posts a lot and some guys run in salt ,some in fresh water. If you run in salt you're going to be faster,so some of these numbers aren't really going to matter to a fresh water guy. .02

I just noticed in another post that his boat is a 1999 36 foot Outlaw. I stand on my original numbers quoted.
