If your are using the same power amp or less. All the current wiring should be fine for whatever you use. If you are going to upgrade the amp, then I would suggest upgrading the wiring.

Also you shouldn't have to change the wiring for different speakers or head unit.

Not trying to steal Funhome's thread here ...

I was also thinking of the LCD TV DVD, etc in my boat. Was apprehensive because of the 110V AC vs DC issue. Don't want to be, limited to using it only with shorepower.

What DVD's are you guys using? It would be nice to stay away from the auto ones as they are expensive as he**.
Also, has anyone wired up a Playstation using 12V power instead of the 110 AC??

Thanks,

Jeff

The RCA that is pictured above has the DVD built into the TV that way you don't have to have a seperate DVD.

I've got the Clarion Marine 10" woofers in my H2X under the rear seat. They have a 300W PPI amp on them, with an Alpine head unit. The woofers are free-air, and actually sound pretty good for the effort that was put into installing them. If you want something simple, that's what I'd go with. I'm upgrading this year and found the marine 10's at www.etronics.com for a pretty good price. Good luck with it
