When you decide that you want to get a bigger blender, let me know. The guy I got my V8 off of has others. He would probably take your current motor in partial trade for a V8.

I'm told 83 MPH on GPS w 2 x 225 on Jack plates.


After reviewing the performance numbers with MrV8outboard who had a lot of experience with single V8 OMC's, it was very clear to me that you get the same speeds as twin 200s (just over 70mph), but with 25% less fuel burn and half the maintanence.

I am not swayed easily, but I was in this case.

With that being said, I havent mounted the engine yet so I'll get back to you.

WOW - THAT'S GREAT!! I got your e-mail but was confused?? This was a well-built boat when new. It was owned by some very close friends of my parents who live on Fisher Island in Miami (they moved on to a Baia when they sold this boat). I'm sure we've got some more pictures for you if you want them. Do you have any recent ones? Please share them...
