Banana Pic's with the V8!

Hang in there Adam. Just be glad you are even able to own a boat in todays economy.
Besides, restoration takes time...
Check out this picture my friend took today.
It looks like the wind is blowing the rooster tail, but I am coming out of a left turn....

No not yet. I'm just kind of sitting on it till I can get the pieces from "The Guys". That way I know how much to cut out and where. Plus less chance for hull deformation if I leave the old stuff in for now.

Thanks for your patience.....I spent some time in Florida earlier this week and can share with you the results of our new layup schedule.
We will be offering two options to our buyers...#1 will be the original layup schedule as used by Cigarette and banana back in the 70's and ....#2 will be the new layup schedule using the most modern ideas and materials, kevlar and carbon fiber.
In the test results this week, option #2 will save almost 30% in weight reduction on hulls and decks.
These are the things we are doing....a lot of trial and error, but the results are worth the time and expense. Sorry, no more details at this time, but we promise you it will be a package worth waiting for.
We are both off today to New York for the wedding of my youngest son Timothy....so all boat stuff stops until this weekend is past.
