Question Question

does anyone know if water gets in thru the fuel shut off valve access plate , under the rear seat were it goes or if it draines to the eng comp. weve been having alot of rain and i'm afraid water might have gotten down there. Any input would be appreciated.

The access plate should be watertight so if you wash down the cockpit, the water goes out through the corner drains into the bilge and is pumped out from there.

If your gasket has dried up or cracked you coould be getting water in there...so check it out and make sure.

TB I checked it all out ,but cant find the corner drains you mentioned. The access plate and gasket seem to be fine, but wasnt pushed down all the way, and found about 2 -3 gal in cockpit area .
