I emailed him through ebay and he told me $5500. If the phone number doesn't work try to go back to the ebay listing and click "ask seller a question" .

Good find on craigslist Chris. Did we ever find out if stringers etc. were same for I/O or outboard?.If i bought it budget would only allow for hangin a couple of pieced together beat up 1980's 200's off the back.. I have one lower unit in my garage..its a start Im starting to consider it though..maybe i would spring for some shiny cowls..so it wouldnt look too bad

I/O 496 new would be around 18,000 with drive then labor 3000 then steering 3500 then tabs 3500 then gauges wiring harness 1500 adds up quick so if you can buy it for 5500 then a trailer 4000 38000 you will have a new old boat which is better than a old old boat if you can buy used stuff take outs drive, motor gauges, sticks, skip ex steering you cold do it for half art

The windshield is removable. Why, you don't like it? If whoever gets it dousn't like it and removes it I'll buy it from them. Mines in rough shape.

Okay, lets stop bashing the 2nd generation Banana Boats already.

Don't forget that most of us own the 2nd gen boats and may try to sell them someday and are not enjoying people saying that they are junk just because one friggin guy had a delamination problem over 10 years ago.

I own two 2nd gen boats and one has been raced hard and won many races including the world championship. Both are in great shape with no delamination problems.

One of my Banana's is a 1988 and is identical to the one on e-bay.

I have had no problems and I recommend them to anybody that is considering one.
