I was told it was a boat made by Baja with a Banana sticker on the side.

Not sure though.

There was one for sale last summer in Cranston RI, my son's friend saw it and told me about it but I did not think they ever made and 18' boat. I can check this weekend to see if it is still around.

In the 70's we had an agreement with Doug Smith who owned Baja boats.

We bought boats complete from them and put our stickers on them and sold them as banana 18 and 20 footers.

I had one for my son who was only 14 or so at the time and we had a 150HP Merc on it. Boat ran nice and smooth and fast.

The boat in the photo above is NOT a Baja / Banana. What it is, I have no idea, but it doesn't have the look of the old 18 or 20's that we bought from Baja.
