I owned a 1978 28ss for 4 years.
It was a great riding boat, but heavy and slow by today's standards.
Will you build a single engine version of the 28SS ?

Yes, a single engine.... using the latest in lam schedules and materials which will greatly reduce the weight.....we think a single Viper engine would make a nice package.

The economy this year will not support a boat in that price point area....that is why we will only build the 24 and the 41 this year...the buyers for those sizes and price points should not be as effected as the 28-35-39 buyers are.

Smart move Charlie

the Boston Boat show was very slow for the mid range price point boats however the higher end boats did well Hinckley sold 3 Picknicks. Not a cheap boat. It will be intresting to see how Miami is.
