Hey Patrick,

Where did your speedo get its info from? I see the pitot tube connects to the inside of the transom assembly, but did you have something in the drive, or a separate exterior pitot tube to pick up the water for the speedo ???

Hi Chad,
Sorry I haven't stopped by in a while.
I used the built in pito in the drive.
The speedo read about 82mph when my gps read 75mph...:D

Hey Chad,
Did you finally get the trailer title and bills of sale?

Trojan-Man Love your avatar. Brings tears to my eyes. I remember a race at Plymouth Mass.

Motorboat magazine asked to have a writer ride with us for the experience. His name was Don Sharp.

Off Provincetown we stuffed it and I look over and the writer is gone.....I look on the floor and he is under the bolster, with his beard sticking through the front of his goggles where the plastic should have been.

That was a great little race boat......we might be building a clone of it soon.

LOL !! Thats pretty funny, would love to have seen that. I certainly would like to see a clone of that boat coming soon :D:D We are making progress on mine, about ready to drop in the engine and we are just about finished with the dash. I am still lacking interior, but that is about it.

I already get the...."what kind of boat is that !!! " from everyone who sees it and it hasn't even been to the lake yet. I will get the banana name out down here in Houston for you :D:D

Chad, we need pictures.
Are you redoing the Superboat interior or going with new?
