Windshields

I'd like a bit of info . .

The windshields on the Banana 24 are made of what? Lexan?

And how thick?

I'm going to build something very similar for my Magnum 27,
without a frame . . and I'd like it to be strong . .

Acrylic .....1/2 inch

Do you find that the acrylic lasts well in the sun?

I desire to make mine a single piece across the front, with a bend at the peak of the vee, I've worked with Lexan, how difficult is it with acrylic and do you believe it will still be strong enough?

Does your new boat have support frames in the center . . ?pictures don't look like it . .

Thank you!!!

If you guys want a lexan polycarbonate windshield, we make them here at loto at Percys optical, we just made a full wrap around for a 40 Skater, bulletproof and crystal clear.

I'm also interested (as is Mario) to what might be needed
to best fabricate and secure a one piece Vee windscreen.

I'm going to look into one too, as well as the V-Berth entry cover, mine is made of teak but I like the dark glass look. BTW, does it come tinted?
PS, I now see that the door is also made of the samw stuff, I'll look into changing that over too! Any Idea on the prices for doing so?
