Most boat cops are boaters themselves and are great people. (Massachusetts boat cops are great.)
NHMP however are ego maniac cop wanna bees.
I was in distress one night. Not my Banana, but the previous boat. Taking on water. Battery dead. Motor dead. All I have is a flash light. On the horizon I see a NH marine patrol. I flash the SOS signal hoping to get help.
They see the light. Race towards me and write me a ticket for no NAV lights....
I try to tell them that we have been trying to keep from sinking for the last 30 minutes and my motor and battery was dead.
They decide that my friend who was just along for the ride smelled like alcohol so they arrest him and leave me floating in the water in a sinking boat.
Needless to say, my friend and I went to court and had all the charges dropped
Jerks...
God I love the open ocean...

Here you can see the new back seat I made.
I am working on making a much better one with arm rests and drink holders.

Hey Chris - nice job on the interior! I've got some pics of the last boat we built with a wrap around type back seat - will post later...

Re: S.S. Monkey Bizness
Thanks,
The back seat bottom cushion came out nice, but I wasn't happy with the back rest. I used the original foam and it was all distorded and cut too short. I can do better...
The next one will have wide arm rest to match the bolsters and the back rest will be 3 long pieces instead of one.
