I'll let that go.......

Oh stop it already.....I'm just giving you a hard time...

The best thing about boating is everybody has a positive attitude and is just trying to have fun....

My friend has a 25 Baja Outlaw. Tied my Banana Boat up to it. It was 1 foot longer, but seem like it was a much larger boat. Most obvious difference was the cabin. A lot more headroom.

Where do you run your boat?

So was there a mold for a 28 Banana?

the way I heard it was that you bought 24, 28 and 35" molds from DA. but All I've seen pics of is the 24 Banana, and larger sorta sonics.

Thaks for the info on the motor...when we get to that stage in the project, we will get back to you with some ideas we have.

As far as the 28 and 35...I did not build them at the time because everything in the racing world had moved on to larger sizes. The production boats, P,M and S had gone to 30 feet at least and the Open boats were 38 and larger.

When I began the project with the 38 Open class boat for myself, the hull was designed so that we could also pull "33's" out of the mold as we anticipated the production boats would keep getting bigger.....They did and the first boat we sold was to a former customer who bought one for use in Modified racing.

Those 33's were actually 34 feet long as we blocked the last 4 feet of the mold.

very interesting

I'll look forward to your call.

I guess what I'm asking is their plans to build a 28 Banana similar to the Classic Cig 28SS?
I'm just thinking that could be a warmly recieved boat since there isn't anything representing that styling and pleasure boats in that range are now exceeding 100 mph w single BBC in the Custom end of the market.

Yes we are working on that right now......old classic styling with the latest technology can give us...in 24 ....28 and the 35 Mistress from the 70's.

That is what we have been working on these many months....you can only come out once ....so it better be right .

I wish you all the success with your introduction (assuming the Miami show).
And look forward to seeing the boats (in person).
Thanks
Evan
