Anybody going to the Boston Boat Show?
#1
I am going to try to go Saturday.
I going to drive over my brothers house and he is gonna cart my a$$ to the show to make up for all those times I drove him to look at Boats which he never bought...
Anybody else going?
I always find it to be a good show, because outback of the Bayside Expo center, they have used boats on trailers that are private sales....

Apparently the Boston Boat Show is this weekend.
Yes, I did buy my trailer from Boat Tune. The guy that I dealt with was Tim.
Of all the dealers I spoke with, he was with out question, the most customer oriented and had the most competitive pricing.
Plan on paying 2800 to 3000 for an aluminum I-beam depending on the options you choose.
I know the price of aluminum went up in the last few weeks so I bet all the trailer builders increase their price a few hundered dollars.
Owens and Sons came highly recommended, but the price was the same and I liked the look of the Magic Trail over the float on style...
Rocket trailers look really cool, but everybody on OSO said they are junk and to stay away. Didn't really research it any further, just took everyone's word for it.
Cantaway and Camp out trailers had great prices, but Boat Tune was in Orlando where my Jeep is, that is what sealed the deal...
Make sure you get the Radial Tire upgrade and brakes on at least one axle for NH. I went with Disc.
Two trailers fit the Banana, the 22-24 and the 24-26.
Good Luck.

Historically, not a lot of offshore stuff. For the hell of it I called O/L yesterday and their obviously going to Miami and no dealers attending. Friends told me there was a nice O/L at the car show last month in Boston, thats as close as we get. Back in the late 80's there was a performance boat show at the World Trade Center, think it lasted 1 year, not enough support in northeast (surprise)
BTW, I'll be there Saturday anyways.
