Default Finally got a trailer

Well, I am officially no longer the most dangerous guy towing a boat.

I am now the proud owner of an aluminum trailer with disc brakes.

Looks great covered in snow...

By the way, if anybody likes those white PVC goal posts that help you find the trailer when it is submerged, then you can find one of mine off of Route 95 somewhere between Georgia and South Carolina...

Holly Schnikies!
I'd hate to been trailing you when that happened! Sounds like you got a nice trailer. I'd love to have an Al. trailer; maybe someday. The trailer that came with my boat was an old tandem EZ Loader style with the "wobble" rollers. I nixed all the rollers and installed 2 x 12 (actually two 2 x 12s bolted together) bunks on each side which fit just outside the strakes.
21 perfect lauch/ retrieves last season. I don't think you'd need the Goal Posts if the bunk supports are set up correctly.

I was up your way on Saturday. I rode with a friend up to the Boat US (west marine store) in Seabrook to get a fish finder.
I haven't started working on the Banana yet. Can't wait for some nice weather! Snow on the way again.....

Dave

Adam, got a trailer for sale that someone left in my yard. It looks real nice and I will let it go Cheap. It looks like this, but it's missing one PVC marker.

Banana's,

Boat US is like 15 minutes from my house. That is a nice trailer you have, I saw it when my brother was looking to buy your boat from Mike (too slow). I like the bunks better than the rollers as well.

Heat Buzz,

You wait here and I'll go get you a nice hot cup of Shut the F#ck Up...

BlownIncome,

How is the new job? My last trailer had the PVC markers, but they were rotted off by the time I got the trailer. Instead of fixing them, I through them away. Since then I have always made fun of the goal posts, but maybe I should try them before I rip on them. I have the brackets, but just one pipe...

Ya I can't wait to see what my boat looks like on something besides rusted steel.

I am hoping to do it soon, before my new trailer finds its way underneath HeatBuzz's Chris Craft.

Big Johnson? What do you mean?
