Just the boat recovered or the 'owner' too?

Why did it take a long time to locate even after it was pictured here months ago? Did it just disappear after towing the Skater or was it not being looked for?

Proably hard to locate since Cigs look just like every other boat, no distinct features to set it out. Just blends in with teh crowd of Formulas, Searays, Bajas....etc.
