Castro wanted One last ride on a Go Fast before his days are up and placed an order. I remember reading an article in Motor Boat and Sailing years back that the Cuban militia had high jacked a large sportfish that was seen later with Castro trolling in the back off the Cuban coast.

Made a beautiful ad campaign, not sure if it was commercial or underground, but it went Something like,, when you can have any sportfish in the world,, you choose Striker, and showed an imposter castro, fishing it.
Strikers are incredible boats though.
