Same thing happened to a buddy of mine in Baytown last week. He didn't even know someone had entered his vehicle until he went to grab his brief case. All they found was some finger prints on door jam. I'm not sure, but I don't think these thiefs go back to the same location. I think we need to catch one and then "interrogate" them like the military to see how they all operate!

.... Glad to see our tax dollars at work, huh ?

Kinda hard for the police to do anything without some leads. Seems all they could really do is take a report at that point. If the owner didn't know for awhile, then.......

That sounds like the same type of entry, on my vehicle. Clean and quick, The manager from the restaurant said they had been hitting the place quite frequently a few months ago, then stopped for a while. They also said that some of the thefts in the past involved fords, the theif had a way to pop or twist the lock open on the fords. I am in the process of getting the video footage from the bank of america that shares the parking lot. If I do come up with anything, I will let you know, its a long shot,, but could be the same guys.

sorry to hear that being a cop unfortunaly thats a bottom list thing it all comes down to street cred and if the azz hole who broke into your car is caught more than likley its for something bigger and he'll plea out that charge will be dropped, to cut a deal on the bigger charge. I wish it were like iraq. If you steal you lose something and the next time you steal will probally be with you feet. I H8 scum bags.
