Default Help, Boat Stolen in St. Pete, Fl

Hello Guys,
My 2001 Yamaha LS2000 Jet Boat was stolen tonight at 7:45PM from my apartment, the Coves in Brighton Bay across from Derby Lanes Dog track in St Petersburg, FL. It was white with bugandy graphics. numbers are FL8087LS, on a galvanized trailer. It has black HydroTurf on the swim deck, I aslo started installing the HydroTurf inside but it is incomplete. I just finished flushing the motors and went to grab the cover and it was stolen when I came back. It even had a lock on the hitch and I have the keys to the boat! I asked around and a Brownish/burgandy older Ford pickup with a billet grill was seen pulling it out of the lot. with two younger white guys in the truck. I will offer a substantial reward for information leading to the return of my boat. I am filled with rage right now and cannot believe this happeded. My number is 989-350-8444 Please help me get my boat back. Thanks guys

Josh Godden

sorry to hear this, not that I can help but I only knew about this since you mentioned it on another thread. IMHO when a boat is stolen they ought to let it stay on the GD forum for a week or so, so many people don't check here regularly. The best time to recover something is immediately after it happens. If our boat ever get stolens I am going to post it in the GD and raise holy hell if they move it, good luck getting the boat back.

I just saw the thread in the GD, glad they are letting it stay there, I see there have been a lot more views there so that's a good thing

I can't believe the nerve of some people, I guess it could be worse it could be your powerquest. Although I am not sure what would be worse for us, the BT is insured and we have a hefty loan on it, the ski boat is paid off and not insured

OH YEAH, They must have beaten it or replaced the tounge of the trailer. Locks can't stop a thief that really wants something. Next time I will have chains, locks, electriciy, alarms and tracking all on my boat.
