Default Vector 46 pics

I have posted a few pics of when we were originally building the boat back in 97-98 here is the link to the gallery

46 Vector Album

Bubba

Sorry for not responding to the threads lately. I have not been getting the notifications due spam filters. I have located the boat and been in contact with the current owner. My thoughts are to find sponsors to finish off the project if possible. I plan on making a trip to NY as soon as I can get away from the office for a couple of days.

If I can find someone that would be interested in picking up the project and finishing it I would be willing to manage the project to completion.

Any takers?

Man that looks awesome! Makes me wish I knew how to work with aluminum. Just out of curiosity, how much is the current owner selling it for?

I am sorry if the post that was here before led anyone to believe that the boat could be purchased on the cheap (steal it price) I have no idea what he has in it and or what he wants for it. It seems that he has gotten calls with reference to my post that was taken in the wrong context. Again I am sorry if I miss led anyone. And to the owner I truly am sorry if it has caused you any problems. To all of you that are interested he is a good guy and reasonable about his bis. This is truly a cool project boat for someone.

Bubba,
Are you a naval architect/marine engineer? I am really intersted in all the engineering that went into the build.

J-bonz, I have been in the marine industry and have designed several performance hulls in the past from Mod-vp bass boats to 50' cats.

Some of my previous projects have been with Hydra-Sports, Talon Marine, Mercury Powerboats when they were still around and Airborne Marine. PM me and I will answer any questions that you like.

Default Vector Update

09/16/07 took a trip down to NY to inspect the boat first hand and snapped a few pics. Working out the details to purchase the boat back from the current owner and making plans to complete the build.

Thumbs up

That's UFB!!! Would love to see it whenever it gets completed. It looks like a combination of a few different types of boats. Very unique.
