Is it just me, or does it appear that the few Trick Marine "issues" that showed up on that website last month have been settled?

I just call my CC company sent them all the info I had, it took about 30 day's and then they called me and recredited my card. I was told that I don't have to worry about it anymore

The statue of limitations on a dispute is one year.Thats Visa mastercard and american express.Up to a certain amount they usually just eat it instead of charging it back to the seller,Thats even if the biz has gone out of biz.

I even have a customer that made a payment on their acc with us with a Visa and has disputed it,and Visa is charging it back from my acc. Now were in disputeing it with Visa.

Like Visa says they favor the card holder

I sent any and all correspondence that I had with Trick, I also sent the fedx return ticket, also I gave them the phone number of Trick, that was when it said (store inventory will open on the 6th) so if they called to verify they would have seen that it was the 24th and still the same recording, also you might maybe copy some of this thread, I did not, but it might be a good idea anyway, so then I get a call and am told that my card has been credited in the total amount, I also ask what if Trick is out of business? My CC said not my problem anymore, so if anyone is out money CALL, CALL,CALL, it can’t hurt, good luck

This Bites--- No contact info on the web site, site still up , VM full and in good faith we extended credit to him also. Looks by the amount of suits against Fred it will become Ugly.

This is amazing, Fred was a calming and effective negotiator here, he had kind words of wisdom and always had good things to say, to see this unravel is heart breaking. I feel for him and hope all works out. Remember the Sutphen deal with Parn? That was aired out here and it was resolved here. I just don't get it. I wish he would at least throw us a bone and give us some idea of whats going on. I am sure reading this is just eating him alive.

I realize that I had become a small competitor when I started selling CMI and Gaffrig products, but even then I supported Trick. I was the one that posted his first Powerboat ad on OSO and congratulated him on it. Personally he was a gentleman and I never had issue with him, but business was a totally different story. He would sell product under cost just to screw you out of a deal.

You've read the issues, seen the pictures of the office and you still feel for him??? How about feeling for all the guys here out thousands dollars and the suppliers that are out hundreds of thousands of dollars?

Regardless of his situation, the guy is a fuc%ing thief.
