I know that this whole thing is like beating a dead horse, but the most unbelieveable thing to me is that He hasn't posted and NOBODY has talked to him.:(:(

I only dealt with Fred about 1 set of headers and steering wheel. CMI drop shipped the headers but it took over a month to get a $125 steering wheel. I could tell something was wierd about Fred with the way explained the delay, but I ignored it due his stand up reputation with the guys here.
I have been more of a regular on Hot Boat and it's strange that none of this was ever raised over there.

A skilled confidence man. He made people trust him, then he screwed them (always his intention) and then he left them wondering.

The only good thing is that if anyone does a search on him when he is tring to pull of his next scam this thread will hopefully show up and warn them to stay away. The entire family will hopefully be on notice as I beleive that they all knew what was going down and did nothing to help.

Sorry, I am so late in this response but first I have to say to Fred is hahahahahahahahahahaha!

Second, I think OSD should be sending Fred a crow..

Third, Masher is correct..which is unusual, but you guys should of jumped on this chit right away and rushed this guy before he had a chance to move around hide. You have probably lost your opportunity now.

Fourth, BouyHunter..you really have no right to even say a word in my opinion. You were one of Freds big cheerleaders! I think its funny how you were so against everyone and on Freds side during the BS thing. When in retrospect you were the one who was actually defending the bigger scam artist! The funny thing is all the people you chastised during the bs event did their part and got the money back. Since you were on Freds side, what are you going to do, to get everyone their money back?

I tried. According to the law, Trick did nothing illegal. He was an active business, shipping parts on a daily basis, with vendors who were being paid. (albeit slowly) I tried the "fraud by inducement" avenue, trying to implicate Trick by proving he was inducing members of online forums to buy merchandise without any intention of shipping the parts. That failed, because he actually WAS shipping parts. So, I'm out 5 grand, plus another 3 thou in attorney fees. There are no assets, and the line of vendors and past customers who have been wronged is long. The spoils, when it's all said and done, won't cover the attorney fees, much less the principal.

Thanks to all the members here who defended Fred early on, without ANY knowledge of who this guy actually was. YOU GUYS are the responsible ones relating to anybody on OSO that was taken. I would have never placed an order with Trick, had the previous threads warning of bad dealings not been deleted because of the B.S. good old boy network here. But, as always, let the buyer beware.

In the future, maybe the cheerleaders will just keep to themselves. I see it already happening again the the Black Thunder thread.
