Yay! Finally finished another James Michener novel . Hey, Fogducker3, I thought you might be losing it when you mentioned the "M" word but you called it right! Congrats man.

M--ther f--ker man, it took me all evening to read this. I really need to get a life I guess.

Oh, and no reader's digest condensed version please. Suck it up and read beotches. It's the off season!

It amazes me that nobody has mentioned the "M" word.....?

Does this not stink like organized crime...?:
A theft ring..yes. Organized crime, a mob family...no. For the simple reason Chubby was never put in a witness protection program. He ran amuck for 3 years after the theft (mouthing off) and is now in prison waiting to testify against them in court. Try that with a Mob Family....Forget about it.

Dude, read the thread. Cut and pasted from the link on post #1032: GRAYSON COUNTY, TX - Investigators now say a 2007 boat theft in Grayson County that was prosecuted last week is part of a mob-related boat theft ring, involving missing boats across the United States.

The names of notorious east coast crime families are rarely mentioned in the same sentence as small cities, like Pottsboro, TX, but the disappearance of a half-million dollar boat called "The Card Shark" that was heisted more than three years ago is now believed to be linked to two mob families in New York

I read it..great headlines...and if it were true, do you think they would let it get this far? They are not the Boy Scouts you know. Maybe some small time earners involved. We shall see.
