To me, it is not your disdain for some of the characters that are alledged to have been involved that is hard to understand, it is the defense, and apparent support of another? Chubby wasnt involved in the sale of a stolen boat to your friend so he is OK, even though he was involved with other boat thefts?

Sorry I will re explain. I dont know Chubby. He is at the same level as the others to me. I just know Chubby was lied to a little and mis led. But he chose to do the crime so do the time.
