Baja For sale on Craigs list
 

I'm not sure but I was looking at a listing for a 1996 Baja 272 on Craigs list located in Miami, FL asking price is 12,800.00 seems terribly cheep.....This boat was listed on Feb 27th...I sent an e mail to the seller and the response was that it was now in Las Vegas....and still for sale..In Miami on 27th, in Las Vegas a day later? After looking at the pictures hard there are no numbers on the boat..... Seller also states he will pay the shipping to my location all I have to do is send money to Square Trade? I don't know but it sure sounds fishy to me..What do you guys think?

Yeap... that was me ....I sent him an E-mail trying to get some more info out of him but came back with the same story you just explained......THIS IS A SCAM .....everyone becareful...thanks alot bud for the heads up .

I sent him another e-mail this afternoon telling him that I would like to get a flight to Vegas and look at the boat. I also asked if everything had a clear titles and that I liked to deal in cash in person..........I'll see what he comes back with.

Yea...Yea...I have the exact same reply as well...Just doesn't feel right...If I was sure it was real I'd go by it...Just toooo sketchy.. as said no phone #, no name, no address ...I think he's playing us all..If it's too good to be true ....Well you know the rest.

Ask him for the address of the boat location. I doubt you'll get a reply but I'd be happy to go check it out for you.

I got this back 10 minutes ago from him im sure it said the same exacat thing but here it is

Well...I think I SKEERT the slime bag off....I sent a message yesterday am that asked exactly what I had to do to pay for the boat. I also told him that I needed some kind of reassurance that this was not a scam....Guess what no response.....I guess the winter is too long and cold...I need to find a new activity now...The boat's in my shop and warm..

The first address is the Mandalay Bay parking lot. I was just there last night and I didn't see any boats! :eek::D

The WAMU address is valid. If you can get him to give you the boat location address I'll check it out but I doubt that will happen. Remember, if you send your money to Vegas it stays in Vegas! :D

theres a guy doing the same thing on mi craigs list. told me she just moved to Dallas and will ship me the atv. I said I happen to be in Dallas and would like to see it. she said not so much and ignored every email after that.
